Weld Select Board Emergency Meeting 1/23/26 11:00am Multi-Purpose Room

The Weld Select Board will hold an Emergency Meeting on Friday, January 23, 2026 in the Multi-Purpose Room at Town Office. (23 Mill Street, Weld, ME) The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and decide to open the Multi-Purpose Room as a warming station for the weekend of 1/24/2026. 2026 Dog License Reminder and Information

The State of Maine requires that dogs be licensed in the town of residence of the owner. Dog licenses expire on December 31st of each year.  New or renewed registration must occur at the Weld Town Office (23 Mill Street, Weld) prior to January 31st of the year or an additional late fee of $25 will be imposed.

Transfer Station Updates

NOTE: Transfer Station will be closed Dec. 24th, Christmas Eve, and will be open normal hours Dec. 31st, New Year's Eve.

Kids' Art Contest

The Weld Recreation Committee will be hosting a Kids' Art Contest! The winner will have their artwork featured on the cover of the 2026 Annual Town Report! The deadline for submitting artwork is January 15, 2026.

Weld Recreation Committee Christmas Party Gift Giving

The Weld Recreation Committee continues to collect optional gift suggestion forms for children who will attend the Town Christmas Party. Please RSVP so we have enough gifts for all the children who attend.

Weld Recreation Committee Meetings - Location Change

The Weld Recreation Committee meets the first Thursday of each month at 6pm. Meetings will be moved to the Weld Public Library for the winter months, starting in December. Location: December through April: Weld Public Library (25 Church Street, Weld, ME) May through October: Town Office, Multipurpose Room (23 Mill Street, Weld, ME)

There will be no Step Aerobics class tomorrow, November 11, 2025 due to the Veterans Day event at the Town Hall.
