Transfer station update Tuesday 12:50 PM:
Power has not as yet been restored to the compacting dumpster, though we continue to hope repairs can be completed today. In the event power cannot be restored in time for tomorrow’s opening, the town of Carthage has graciously agreed to allow Welders to use their facility for trash only. So, the plan for now: The Town of Weld Transfer station will be open regular hours Wednesday August 12th, accepting bulky, metals, and recycling only. What would normally be placed in the compacting dumpster can be driven to Carthage’s transfer station (please limit what you bring to Carthage only to general trash, everything else to our town of Weld station). Many thanks to Carthage for helping us out!
Updates will go out as we learn more.

Please stay tuned for updates!
