January 8, 2026The State of Maine requires that dogs be licensed in the town of residence of the owner. Dog licenses expire on December 31st of each year. New or renewed registration must occur at the Weld Town Office (23 Mill Street, Weld) prior to January 31st of the year or an additional late fee of $25 will be imposed.
