Public Information Session (Topics: Site-Plan Review Ordinance; New Fire Station Project; Multi-Rec Space Project)

A Public Information Session (including Q&A) will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 @ 6PM in the Town Hall (23 School Street) where municipal officers and officials will be presenting information on the following topics:

1. Update: Draft Commercial Site-Plan Review Ordinance - The current draft ordinance (as compared to the last draft ordinance circulated at Public Information session dated August 19, 2025) will be presented. This will be the final Public Information session on the draft ordinance before Annual Town Meeting on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

2. Briefing: New Fire Department Building Project - the Town of Weld is proposing a capital improvement project to build a new Fire Hall on Town Property.  Information on the proposed project such as design, location, and funding will be presented.

3. Briefing: New Multi-Recreational Space Project - the Town of Weld is proposing a capital improvement project to replace the current Town tennis courts with a Multi-Recreational Space. Information on the proposed project such as design, location, and funding will be presented.

In the event of snow or inclement weather, the alternative date and place for the Public Information Session is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026 @ 10AM in the Town Hall (23 School Street).
