Town Meetings
The Town of Weld's Legislature, made up of the registered voters of the Town, come together annually (traditionally on the first Saturday of March) to conduct Town business such as elect municipal officials, adopt a budget, pass ordinances, and act upon any other business within the Legislature's authority that is presented before it on the Town Warrant.
Special Town Meetings may be held between annual Town Meetings if there are time-sensitive matters that the Legislature must act upon.
