April 24, 2025 -- Road Conditions Alert -- Center Hill Road
The dirt road section of Center Hill Road currently has five deep sink holes along it. This is as a result of the frost underneath the roadbed taking longer than usual to melt and drain. Our Public Works road crew has been working on the road regularly the last two weeks. However, only light grading work and gravel dumps can be done at this time as heavy vehicles only deepens the ruts and the vehicles tend to sink into the holes.
We appreciate everyone's patience as Public Works continues to work through these issues with the changing weather.
